I don't need to lie down at all, and I would not get canned for saying the word Spic at all, why should I be? Racism as I've pointed out many times before is relative to context, not to the word itself. Nigger for example is not offensive unless it is used in a particular context. If you are actually educated to the level of being a US equivalent of a barrister, then you should be able to understand that.
