25 year old Argentine playmaker, that has been keeping Valencia ticking over this season. He has a brilliant range of passing and a great dribbler. Centre midfielder with a buy out clause of €50M. This being said, Valencia are strapped for cash and it has been rumoured in several publications that €20M will be enough - as the player wants a fresh challenge.

His CV is everything we need and he is just the type of player we could go for - cheaper than the rest and not a global superstar. Ye guys think he could cut the mustard?

Doesn't his CV include being run over by his own car, missing training and having problems with multiple managers?

It does indeed. He looks a very good player, but he's a bit of a nutter which is why no club has signed him yet.

A very good player. I can't see him being cheap though, would take him at United for sure but he wouldn't be a player I would be breaking the bank for.

I'd love to see him in the PL. He was always being talked about on Everton forums...i don't know if that was due to genuine interest by Moyes or delusion that we'd be able to buy him.

If he's available for €20, then that's a real bargain.

I edited that immediately after I saw it ha.

I've seen small bits of him. I ain't gonna be one of those who confesses to watching Valencia week in, week out and love the guy. According to a few nothing segments, we could be in for him. First I saw of the guy was actually playing FM10 and I couldn't help but feel for how ugly he was ha.

From what I've seen, he is an extremely good player.

Good player. I'd take him at United.

Ekeke is a big fan of this lad. If he has got his off field problems out of the way he would be a good signing.

The car thing, while crazy/funny, is hardly going to rule out a move for him? Valencia have also kept him for years. He can't be any worse than the majority of Argentinian footballers then...they are a bit crazy in their majority.

For some reason, in previous seasons, I always thought he could end up at Everton. Just reminds me of a few of Everton's centre midfielders over the years. So maybe there is something Moyes sees in him.

Aye, but in the three seasons before this year he's started 54 of a possible 114 league games. There's clearly been some issues holding him back because he's obviously a talented player.

When i've been able to see him he's been willing to put in a shift and do the dirty work. He's strong so can win the ball back and then he has the talent to offload it and play-make. I suppose he would define the phrase a 'complete' midfielder. Moyes likes players who will put in that shift.

Can't argue with that logic.

Discrediting previous seasons, he has been a regular feature thus far in 13/14 though. Maybe he has grown up and begun to realize his talents.

Never heard of him, is he any good on FM? first one to post a screenshot of his stats wins.
