So, apart from bags of crisps (chips for the yanks), what do you like to eat before dinner?

I just had some semi-cured sheep cheese with green olives stuffed with red peppers and some cherry tomatoes and chorizo. Very nice. I'm now for some reason dipping plain Doritos into Old El Paso red mexican sauce.

Yes, this is my current entertainment.

If you eat no less than an hour before bedtime, with wholemeal bread (no butter) you will also save yourself the expanding waistline.
