The board has said that we wont be spending. SAF has said he'd like another striker. SAF has since had success with a lone striker by playing 3 support players.

Even if we sold Giggs for (30m to Inter) the PLC might not sanction any more purchases.

Bare in mind: Money spend on Rio, RVN and Veron + monies owed for Stam..... plus SAF already has selection headaches a plenty with injured regulars coming back.

My point being, that we shouldnt assume we'll bring any new faces in, even if we sell someone.

Any thoughts peeps?

We should not sell, that is our main priority.

About bringing in a forward, even though I would like to see a new face, WE MUST NEVER FORGET THE FINANCIAL VIEW OF THINGS.

I guess if the board boycott a big star move we can work on two ways

1 Either promote a youngster, possibly Danny Webber ( while in the defense I would promote Tierney)

2 Bring in a stop gap. DI Canio would do fine for the next 6 months
