(Didn't know whether to put this in Transfer or the Youth forum, mods please transfer it, if it's in the wrong forum)

Does this one look like a ******?

Doesn't look square and colourful to me. Silly mexicans.

ah, so this might not be a transfer thing
didnt Vergara say Chivas had an agreement with United as a part of the hernandez deal where we probably had first refusal and they could 'take advantage' of our coaching setup

I'm sure i read that somewhere

they are probably just sending him over to learn a bit and we can have a look at the same time

True. Partizan did the same with the Ljajic and Tosic deal.

Looks like Eikrem, except without the nose.

El Atletico de Madrid quiere dinero ya!!! Y por eso De Gea se va al #Manchester United.?@AgustinDevoti y The Times hablan del fichaje.#MUFC

IMHO, ESPN Mexico has lost a lot of credibility with stupid, ignorant, uninformed opinions on everything they talk about, they are not even serious anymore, and you can finger-count the amount of serious journos that work there. They are a joke, a bunch of spastics, transfer muppets, and idiots.

I'm not saying this just because we're linked to De Gea and they say it's a done deal, 'cause a big part of the media does the same. But hours after it has been confirmed we have not inquired about him, they post that we are gonna sign him, just because.

Erick Torres, I have never seen him play, but I've heard good things from a friend of mine who supports Chivas and is really into the reserves and sub-17 team. He might just train with us in order to get some experience and learn a few things, but the Mexican media will say he is the next Chicharito and that we will sell Rooney, Berbatov, Owen, Alan Smith (yeah, they've done it before) and Macheda in order to play him.

tbf mate, even Guillem Ballague Sky's Spanish Pundit has said the same.

I honestly have no respect for that guy. But ok, to be completely fair, let's say it is a done deal, 20m after we have (appartently) signed another keeper for 17m less.

Be that as it may, let's assume I drop that argument, ESPN here in Mexico has lost a lot of credibility. If it's not De Gea, tomorrow will be someone else. I'm just saying we shouldn't get too excited about the prospect of a mexican u-17 player because the Mexican press hypes him. We have hyped Giovani dos Santos before, and Jonathan, and Nery Castillo, and Carlos Ochoa in Spain, we can do it again with another u-17 player just to have more twitter followers, 'cause that how it works.

I'd rather honestly have another source giving an opinion on this kind of things (mexican players), just because they are too biased here.

Very promising player and has already rejected offers from European teams. Great news if true.

We all know what happened the last time we signed a foreigner with the same surname as that of an already illustrious footballer. I can only hope and dream, the future only god knows!

Hernandez. Good sign then.

This lad has started looking impressive for Chivas with 5 goals in 10 games so far

He's the only Torres that we can afford. ;)
