89 years old, apparently carried on working into his 80's despite being almost completely deaf & blind.

Remembered particularly for writting the Goons & for his 70's sitcom with Hattie Jaques.

Also appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

His sitcom was a bit before my time, but he will definitely go down as a comedy great.
