Any Epica fans here? I heard about them when looking for bands similar to Nightwish. From the songs I've heard so far, I quite like them, and love Sensorium and Never Enough in particular. Currently downloading their discography, so should have it completed in time to get through it over the Christmas holidays.

They're good imo, I used to listen to them alot but computer went akka earlier this year, so got a new one and never bothered ripping music from CD's or downloading any really :/
I should probably find some of my Epica CD's and shot them on the computer, there was one song I loved, can't remember the name of it now.
Other good bands like them, Nightwish (as you mentioned), Lacuna Coil, and Within Temptation, there are more just can't think of them atm

The only hideously theatrical and synth-infested metal records I would recommend are La Masquerade Infernale and Aspera Hiems Symfonia by Arcturus.
Can't really say I'd be into that type of music pillory, I'm quite random in my tastes.
