Usually get my tickets through the membership ballot but decided to join the local supporters club (Worksop)and just wondered about cost and what u get. Apparently its easier to get match tickets as they get a set allocation. Will someone just please explain the whole concept/advantiges to me please

I'm currently trying to join the official Hampshire Supporters club, but they haven't answered my emails nor has their web-site been updated since july 2001.

If anyone has any info on them, I'd appreciate it.

Annoying, 'cos I can get return travel from Portsmouth for £19 with the SC should I be successful in the home game ballots.

alternatively, any irish folks looking for a supporters club can find a list <a href="http://www.prideofmanchester.com/sport/mufc-supporters-irish.htm" target="_blank">here</a>

It really depends on the club itself and what the chairman of the club does. Generally speaking tho, the supporters clubs are more successful when applying for home tickets. This is also reflected in how many members the club has got. Apart from ticket and travel, most supporters clubs tend to organise day trips to places like the museum and carrington/Old Trafford (for the open training sessions). They also have guest speakers (old players) and stuff going on.

I was going to join one at one stage cos I thought I would have a better chance of getting away tickets..........no such luck so I didn't bother.
