ENG v WI

England should win....

That said, I reckon Arnie's spot on about the toss. In England the team batting second has a huge advantage.

In perfect conditions I think both teams are better at chasing than setting a target.

Plus the weather down here for Saturday is overcast and Sunday is sunny so the team batting second will have a massive advantage.

Good for you mate.
Gutted me.
Sure we had it when chanderpaul was out.

Me too - thought I'd be back here eating some humble pie.

The fat South African refusing Flintoff a plumb LBW (Browne, I think) helped turned the tide WIndies way. If he'd given it, the game would have been England's.

Given the conditions, I would have perservered with Collingwood / Trescothick or even given Giles a go. It was that sort of wicket and it was clear from the off that Gough was off form today.

Still - a great partnership from Browne / Bradshaw to see them home.

well done windies.

I was just reading today...so england have never won a major cricket tournament??
