While he hasn't really gone the Hollywood superstar route (heck, not even Orlando Bloom nor Viggo Mortensen have really become superstars), he's mostly been in low-key films (that have been critically acclaimed), but hardly struggling to find work.
 
Bloom was in the Pirates franchise which was huge
 
He's actually done some really good movies since LOTR such as eternal sunshine and Sin City(admittedly a small part) however why do I keep seeing him on low rent english shows and crap films like Green Street?
 
Yeah that was a good little part for him in Sin City, what a fecking great movie, cant wait for the sequels

nah - he was known before LOTR and has already done good stuff after so cant be compared to Hamill

i think he is doing a good job of doing a wide variety of stuff to make sure he isnt type cast as fecking hobbit for the rest of his life

anyone seen 'North'? supposed to be a kids film but in fact its a great stoners film
 
He is announced on play Iggy Pop in the movie based on Iggy's life.. Hopefully he will be able to portrait Iggy's persona in the movie..

I think he has been given unfair reviews after "LOTR" -movies and that has shown in him. Personally I don't give feck about critics and their mainly bias comments, but he obviously has been reading the reviews...
 
Am I the only one that thinks he's an extremely limited actor and a bit shit really?
