The Mirror claims United are willing to pay 10 mill for Eidur Gudjohnsen. Lazio are willing to do the Crespo - Veron switch, and SAF has denied that he are going after PDC...

I know all these stories are linked everywhere nowadays, but the Eidur story might be the most important!

I say YEAH! Even though PDC would add depth, variety and a new dimension to the attackers, Eidur is young, promising and not so expensive... <img src="graemlins/smirk.gif" border="0" alt="[Smirk]" />

Eidur would be great at Man Utd !!!

It will also be nice to get all the Icelandic drunks over for the games at Old Trafford...

If we can get Eidur for anywhere between 10-15m we should be interested imo. Young, quick etc. Perfect alongside Ruud.

Maybe because he is about 22 and can only get better with experience. Ole has reached his peak and while he will still be doing the business for us for a couple of years, there is no harm in shaping the future. We have Giggs but many still want Duff. Gudjohnsen has more pace anyhow. ;)

I don't want Lopez or Crespo. I still can't get my head round some people who are after Crespo. I find it incredible how some can want him but have doubts over Gudjohnsen. Gudjohnsen has Premiership experience on top his other qualities, and he seems to have lesser wage demands. We could well see another Veron in Crespo came, failing to get to grips with the league, culture etc. Anyone with half a brain can see EG is the better option imo.

People should just look at his partnership with Jimmy-Floyd last year. If he can notch 20+ goals with a midfield like Chelsea's just imagine how he would fare alongside Ruud, Ole, Becks, Giggs etc. It bodes well for the future no doubt. Saying that, I wouldn't be suprised if SAF got diCanio for this year and examined Eidur closer this coming season before going for him.
 
I'd definately take Eidur over Crespo, a much better fit.

Well, Fergie has sent the broadcast to agents all over, saying we are looking for a forth striker.

You can never tell. We may even sell someone. Selling Veron is still a possibility although I would rather he stayed than getting Lopez. Veron for Ronaldo would be great for us. That way Veron + a bit of cash that is. That way, Veron could be with his fellow Argentine Hector Cuper at Inter and Ronaldo can get his supposed wish of leaving Inter. BUT I DONT SEE IT HAPPENING IN MY WILDEST DREAMS.
