What do u guys think of him being our fourth Striker. I Think he would be a great buy and at 23yrs, he would play his best football in a couple of years time.

Can be a good choice but I think Piojo Lopez could be better

I think it could be a good choice but Lopez could be a better one  :) :D

u guys are talking abt Lopez the Argentinian ?? ...
<img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[No No]" /> <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[No No]" /> <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[No No]" /> he'll find himself in hell if he comes to OT ... 'cos his work rate is a bit terrible I think he'll be subed every game before he could every score any ... The gaffer attitude won't allow that ...

he's talking about J-Lo's arse...as backup keeper.

i'll take eidur and his epl goals over lopez , (even j.lo).

Personally I'm not excited about Guðjónsen, but if he's happy to sit on the bench, then bring him on.

I find it hard to believe Fergie's going to splash the cash for an up-and-coming 4th striker after laying out £30million for Rio. This is the usually tight-fisted United we're talkjng about here. Much more likely he'll go for experience, someone cheap and tested like Di Canio.

I can't believe these stories about Duff either. He'd be a nice signing but we need cover at fullback more.

Gudjohnsen is a fantastic striker. Definitely one for the future. Same applies to Duff.

Agree Duff and Gudjohnsen would be nice. and while people consider that 10 to 15 mil might be too much....think about the Rio saga, could have had him for 18 million but instead we are paying 30 mil.

I am just wondering how good Utd scouts are, especially for spotting good , young British based (irish included) players.

:)
