From TeamTalk:
Dwight Yorke could be in line for a dramatic first-team recall against Leeds in the absence of Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Fallen star Yorke was the player most likely to leave Old Trafford by Thursday's transfer deadline but an injury crisis could see the former Trinidad and Tobago striker plunged into the front line at Elland Road on Saturday.
First-choice hitmen van Nistelrooy and Solskjaer are both doubtful for the game after pulling out of this week's friendly internationals, instead staying in Manchester for treatment.
Diego Forlan is currently in Saudi Arabia with the Uruguay squad and not due to return until Thursday, leaving Sir Alex Ferguson down to the bare bones when it comes to experienced frontmen.
The one-time record signing Yorke, who cost United £12.6million when he moved from Aston Villa in the summer of 1998, last started a Premiership game on December 8.
He has not figured in any league games this year and has made just eight starts in all competitions, scoring one goal.
Last week he was not even included in the United reserve side but with Paul Scholes having treatment on the calf strain that forced him out of England's friendly with Italy tomorrow, Ferguson could be forced to turn to Yorke for the weekend's crunch encounter with David O'Leary's side.
I bloody hope this ain't gonna happen - I'd rather have Webber or Nardiello than him!
