If you start reading a thread with an edited thread title it could well make the thread starter and those posted previously look silly.
Can someone please edit my Dark Souls thread to simply read "Dark Souls?" 
Yeah, but if I don't edit it then the thread title often doesn't match the current debate if something new has happened - and that's after all more important than month old posts.
Take an Owen thread I edited yesterday. Someone had bumped it, so it asked if Owen was back on Saturday, or something like that, but it was actually referring to a Saturday in January.
