Anyone watch or watched this?

My mate introduced me to it via boxset and have watched about 4 episodes now from the start.

Really funny. Right up anyones street who enjoyed Anchorman and similar films. You will recognise alot of the cast and the main lead, Danny McBride.

Another HBO production.

There is a thread on yet, yes I watch it and it is fecking hilarious. Apparently the next sesaon, 3, could be the last though :(

My mistake, didn't see the thread on it.

Really is brilliant though. Heard season 3 might be the last too...

I have a shirt with Kenny Powers on it and it says "You're fecking Out!!!" love it

A Gold Card will get you Jonas Brothers tickets. A Black Card will have all three of them sucking your cock within the hour.

Yeah Stevie was fecking hilarious when he came down as well

Fun fact: Danny McBride (the actor who plays Kenny Powers) and the real life baseball player who he is loosely based on (John Rocker) were both born in my (relatively small) hometown.

I wish John Rocker was as cool as Kenny P

Many say his character is a collaboration of three former players: Rocker, Kruk and Hrabosky. Or possibly Gossage for one of the three.

According to the wiki page, his character is not based off Rocker.

Yeah I wasnt sure of that although he does have a couple of similarities in that he is a power pitcher from the South who is a complete biggot.

And was a closer for Atlanta. I think for legal reasons they probably can't say he's based on Rocker, but if you put it all together, it's pretty obvious that there is some connection.

First episode is good fun. Following the mould of series 2 and bringing it in a different direction. Hopefully Stevie comes back soon, hes great.

Why is Jason Sudeikis in everything? feck off, you ballbag.

Didn't realise Season 3 had started. I found the first two seasons funny. It wasn't the greatest thing I'd seen, not many laugh out loud moments I felt but I still found it strangely watchable.

He's possibly my least favourite actor ever.

I didn't know his name, but I always thought he was annoying. Mockney typed a mini rant about him and then I knew his name, which somehow makes it worse.

God I hate him. There are so many douchebag characters and he can only play himself so he probably has to swat offers away even though he's everywhere.

The thing that annoys me most about him is that he dates hot actresses.

For me it's the fact that he's clearly being pushed on us by people who seem to think he's the next big thing, despite being utterly shit.

So 3 episodes in what are people thinking? It's been pretty poor in my opinion with a few very good lines saving it. The Will Ferrell bits were basically horrific though.

Hopefully that will be the last of Jason Sudeikis too, although it seems stupid after they just set him up in opposition to Stevie.

Did anyone watch the finale? Really odd. The whole season has been pretty patchy and it was quite dark at times.

Yeah I was prepared for it to be the series finale with 10 minutes to go. Didn't like the ending. It as all a bit unnecessary and didn't make much sense either.
