Do you think he should be allowed to re-enter the olympics?

After being banned after the drugs test and basically being a cheat, I don't think he should be allowed. Maybe the Norich Union championships but the olympics? No way!

What do you think?

No, but look at him, you wouldn't exactly want to be the one to tell him now, would you ?

He just won the 60m and qualified for the World Indoors

Which kind of begs the question - why oh why did you become a drug cheat? You had the talent, why have you ruined it

Chambers used to be one of my favourite athletes. I was gutted to learn he was a drug cheat. I know they say once someone serves their punishment, you should give them a fresh start, but I just can't. Mainly because I don't agree with the punishment. If you cheat at a sport, you should be permanantly banned from it in my eyes

How about two Olympics, a drug-free one and then one where you just let everyone get smacked out of their heads on whatever they want? I've been up all night working and at this stage of tiredness it doesn't seem such a ridiculous idea

there's a Staurday Night Live clip about that somewhere...a weight lifter rips his arms off after trying to lift an incredible weight, it;s hilarious.

as for Mr. Dwain Chambers well, he spells his name like a homo so, no. He should be banned from competition.

Not sure about this. If the punishment was a lifetime ban, then by all means never pick him again. But the punishment was two years I think, he's served it, and I don't see why he shouldn't be let back in. Plenty of other athletes are competing at the moment after serving bans.

Difference with Chambers is that he didn't start spouting the usual "I was the only bad apple in the bunch" shite. He said something entirely accurate to the effect that if he did start competing again there's every chance he'd be up against drug users, and that's why they're making an example out of him.

He's served his ban - so he's got to be allowed to run.

If they wanted him eliminated forever then they should have given him a lifetime ban.

I couldn't give two shits to be honest. Athletics lost all credibility many years ago

The public interest will still be in the clean Olympics, people smacked out of their heads would try to claim they were clean and participate until found out. All your system would do is give them a back door to compete and earn money again

I saw an interview that Chambers did with Matthew Pinsent and Chambers had no remorse in what he did and thought it was the right thing to do. He was saying why not do it if most of the other athletes are doing it. Thats a shit attitude to have. If he knows that people are doing it he should help to clean up the sport. I have a lot of respect for Darren Camobell for not doing the lap of honour with them.
