DVD's onto Ipod

Hi

I was wondering if anyone had any decent software that enabled me to copy Dvds onto my computer and then convert them into MPEG 4 to play on my iPod.. Ideally it would be one piece of software, but two pieces would be fine. For PC.

If you can supply a link that would be brilliant.

for a Mac you can use MacTheRipper or Handbrake and then isquint or ffmpeg to convert I think

You want a programme called dvdx, feck knows what version its up to now but I use dvdx 2.4 it will rip the dvd straight into a format your ipod will recognise
