Duff given permission to talk to Pool

Damien Duff has turned down a new deal with Blackburn. Liverpool have offered 8M for Duff.

Duff has been given permission to talk to Liverpool - NewsNow

I hope Fergie doesn't let him slip away.

me think so too .... 8mil for Duff ... that's the joke of the off-season if it really happens ... Not even before the WC Duff could be avail. for 8mil ... 10mil is the least and 12mil+Yorkie looks the most logical now I would say .. Anything higher then Sourness is trying to cut the throat of the buyer...

IMO Owen Diouf will be a too lightweight - Heskey or another big man needs to be there to complement either one of them - neither will be happy to play the subs role for long unless you play with 3 upfront - dont think thats your style though

Babbel - Used to be v good, out for an entire season, doubts over fitness and form.

u guys realli think diouf is good? i haf some doubts though ... sure he set up some goals for his senegalese team mates but he din score at all. looks like all he actually bothers to do is to dive and get penalties ... he was cautioned for doing that and he got a penalty from denmark or was it some other country by diving? oh come on ... if the scousers are gonna win by getting diouf to dive ard our penalty box, they might as well get yorke and that will be doing us a favour!!!
 
According to reports in Dublin Liverpool have offered £20m for Duff. What have the scousers nicked? Where are they getting the money? ;)
 
So its Diouf =10 mil ; Bowyer possibly 9 million, cheyrou, 4 million and now Duff 20 million......about 43 million......Do they have a sugar daddy somewhere.

aren't they currently financing a new stadium?? they had problems funding a larger ground, so, they cut their original plans hence made it smaller and more affordable.

They must be offloading some small players like Biscan and Berger, and some other flops. Bit of a gamble since they don't seem to have any buyers lined up yet.
 
i couldnt give a flying monkeys what LFC or any other club for that matter get up too. Im more concerned with what my own club does.
 
The dippers are out of money and are apparently offering up the laughable sum of £8million for him - whereas we could easily take him for 12m plus Disco.

Even if they offload Biscan/Berger/Smicer/Barnby/Traore they will be lucky to make £10m on current prices. Our PLC better doubel check the bank accounts and make sure we haven't been "Scoused" ;)
