Drogba to Galatassaray?

I'd be shocked if he went there. A return to Marseille or a final tilt at the CL with a cashed up Spanish/Italian club was always what I thought would happen if he ever left Chelsea.
 
He's still one of the best strikers in the league. If he goes there it will be a waste.
 
He'd do well to move to Real for a year or two, assuming they don't keep hold of Adebayor

He's done it all in England and 33 hardly seems the time to try and prove yourself elsewhere once more.
 
Is this confirmed? I always thought he'd go for the one final chance to link up with Mourinho and he'd have fun in La Liga.
 
Galatasary are the graveyard of premier league players. If i recall they have on their books Milan Baros, Harry Kewell, Emiliano Insua, Lucas Neill and Lorik Cana. I think Elano might be there as well.

With all that money he spends on charity I don't think a few thousands grand per week will matter much. He'd much rather play where he would enjoy himself. Sure, the fans there and atmosphere is crazy but he'd not be able to communicate there with anyone and why go through all that when there are better teams bound to want you as well. Ronaldinho and Deco both chose Brazil over Turkey. Raúl chose Germany over Turkey. Drogba will not choose Turkey either.

That may have something to do with the fact they came from Brazil.

But I agree with the rest of your post.
 
He's too good for there. He could still be at a top club. If he was going to go down the easy route I'd have thought he'd go to France, as has been suggested.

Well yes but I'd imagine that there's more money in Turkey. Not sure and that's why I didn't mention it.

Drogba could go to Spain, Italy, France or another team in England. Why on earth would he go to Turkey? Not the best place for a black, French speaking, non-muslim African to be.
 
It will be a loss to Chelsea if he goes. Even now when he around 32-33, he is still better than Torres, at least for the last couple of seasons.
