Man Utd, Juve, Deportivo, Basle

quite a few familiar faces huh?? and we got a chance to show the scousers how to beat basle, :)
i would say it is a reasonable draw.

comments?
 
i think it was a pretty good draw...everyone saying that newcastle has the easiest group must be smoking pot...i'd rather face juve and depor than inter and barca (if for nothing else than the atmosphere at away games)...i don't think we are in the quarters yet, but i'm certainly not scared of these teams....

I for one can't wait.

Oh...and liverpool have drawn 200/1 outsiders Arnhem in their struggle for European glory.
 
yeah... my sentiments exactly. barcelona and inter does seems daunting.
anyone know who are we facing in the opening 2 games??
its really quite important to have a good start cos you wun have the chance to rectify it as there is a 3 months break...

i believe there is another whole thread on this topic...and there is a list of all our CL games...we play basel first....but that's all i remember off the top of my head.

Soccernet is saying that the draw was kinder to us than Arsenal. NOWAY, I think our group is the hardest since there are 3 very strong teams in the group + Basle who got rid of liverfool. Arsenal group is easier as I think Rome is the weakest Italian team and Byer are not what they used to be. <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />
 
I dont think they could have asked for a better draw, I am looking forward to seeing them in the next round.
