Doom

A couple of months back I bought Doom and Doom 2 on Steam and played through them both - still great fun, and I still remembered so much of them from when I was a kid. Although this time I played through and completed them without cheating :D

Have to love the Shotgun, didn't like using any other weapon
 
do you remember the end level when you shot so many weird things that the programmers heads appeared on big spike/pillar things?

that was weird/cool at the time
 
I bought this recently but haven't even opened the box yet. I never played it years ago either.

I bought Syndicate Wars as well but that didn't work on my computer. My computer seemed to be too fast or something.

That put me off trying Doom.
 
:drool: Oh the memories.

Many a weed fueled night was spent playing Doom and Doom 2 on the PS1 (best version made ever). Once did a non stop 14 hour stint on it with me mate, only stopped when the light started popping through the curtains.

Greatness was Doom, and still immensely playable still now, one of the best games ever made for me.
