But I really wouldn't care who wins the PL aslong we won the Champions League. Regardless of if it was Scousers or Arse.

Yes the PL is a great bonus and means a lot to me, but The European Cup is the European cup, and is the Biggest club trophy in the world.

If somebody asked me at the start of the season, Would you settle just for the Champions league I would be chuffed!

After all in my eyes the winner of the Champions league is the best team in Europe.

Well thats true, it is the ultimate prize and any season id more tha happily settle for either of them.
To go without both would be survivable for me but to see a crowd of bindippers with either of them would upset me.

They'll only get their hands on them if they rob them.

Yes, if we only win the CL I will settle for it. This is the biggest trophy in club football, which is above any domestic competition. It's not just the best team in Europe, but is also the best team in the world, because all the top players in the world are playing in Europe now.

Whether we can win it or not is another question. If you ask me do we have a bigger chance to win the CL than PL this season, I'd answer no.

Winning the CL, a team will get the respect of Europe. Living in Spain, the general consensus is that most Spaniards believe that the English League is far inferior to that of the Spanish. So to them, winning the PL is nothing, but beating them to the CL, that is something that commands respect. I value the CL much more than the PL just for that reason, you get the respect of the whole of Europe, you have proven to be better than all the best teams in Europe.

Who cares what the Spaniards think? Everyone's got mates who are Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal fans and it's them you have to cop it from if they pip you to the title.
It's wouldn't worry me too much if a Spaniard didn't think much of the EPL, but it would get on my wick to hear a scouser gloating about the return to the glory days.
I don't see how you could claim to be the best club in Europe when you aren't even the best in your national league. Wasn't the Real Madrid coach sacked after winning the CL in 1998, because the club finished a mere fourth in the league. Can't see the same happening if it had been the other way round.
I'd take the title any day of the week, though as an Arsenal fan, I obviously don't have much choice in the matter.

I would love to win the Premiership this season. I think the fact that Arsenal or the Dick S**king, pin Pr**king scouscers could get their hands on it makes me mad.

Especially when the season is so tight.

Its too early to start thinging about winning the CL.
