We finished 2nd, Signed Ronaldo, Varane and Sancho, Luke Shaw had just been one of the best players in the Euros, Pogba was also very good in the Euros and got 4 or 5 assists in the first game of the season with Bruno hat-trick.
I personally never thought we would win it or even get 2nd but I would find it hard to mock someone for getting a bit giddy at the time. Hindsight is a great thing.
