Go spend the money and get us out Alisson/Ederson signing our manager needs.

I wonder if that’s it. Given Livakovic’s style is incredibly similar to DDG it might be that we’re scouting and sounding out these players in case the ownership doesn’t change. There will be no sweeping revolution if the Glazers are still in charge over the summer so the defence will probably stay relatively similar to how it is now, hence the links to this lad.I think not having the money is the issue. Links like this make me think we are strapped for cash. If true, of course.
That doesn't even make sense why United wouldn't want a more rounded keeper if they are spending money even if it's on the lower side and why would United be scouting similar players as De Gea when it's clear as day how much chaos and panic it would continue to create .I wonder if that’s it. I didn’t say it made sense. But that’s United for you. Livakovic leaves his line even less than De Gea.That doesn't even make sense why United wouldn't want a more rounded keeper if they are spending money even if it's at the lower side and why would United be scouting similar players as De Gea when it's clear as day how much chaos and panic it would continue to create .
I don't believe United are actually in for him but as you said you can never know with United .I didn’t say it made sense. But that’s United for you. Livakovic leaves his line even less than De Gea.
Croatian De Gea. I’d be very disappointed if he was the keeper we bring in.
Being Croatian, all I can say about Livaković is that he would be the perfect "replacement" for DDG: great at shot-stopping, coward at claiming crosses and sweeping, and he also treats a ball like a bomb when you try to build up from the back.
With all due respect to him, we adore him in Croatia for his WC performances, but he wouldn't offer any significant change in our style of play so I don't want him anywhere near our club.
We are, people need to accept that.Would mean we are going into next season with DDG as the first choice.
That was going to be my input. But the bomb reference did the trick.110% this.
I'd be surprised if we were. Surprised and appalled. We are, people need to accept that.
Would be a daft move if that’s trueCroatian De Gea. I’d be very disappointed if he was the keeper we bring in.
Why? Do you think ETH doesn’t care for possession? We are, people need to accept that.

More pressing concerns, money needs to be spent elsewhere. Also, De Gea only wanted to renew if he was going to continue as no 1, so if they are negotiating with him, knowing that, they must be willing to meet such a demand. I am not saying what I want, I am saying what's going to happen. Why? Do you think ETH doesn’t care for possession?
If we are a serious club with serious ambitions, then he gets replaced this summer. I think it's far from a certainty that he'll be our number one next season.More pressing concerns, money needs to be spent elsewhere. unless his contract negotiations break down I would say it's almost guaranteed. And this story proves my point, because this guy would clearly be to replace Henderson, not De Gea.If we are a serious club with serious ambitions, then he gets replaced this summer. Indeed! Striker is the managers priority on a limited budget. GK isn’t a priority. We are, people need to accept that.
I wouldn't be so sure about that. I don't think we'll sign this lad anyway. De Gea may well stay, but on reduced terms and I'd imagine it will be quite heavily based upon appearances. Henderson will leave and his replacement will be lined up as De Gea's successor.unless his contract negotiations break down I would say it's almost guaranteed. Your commitment to being wrong is impressiveI wouldn't be so sure about that. I don't think we'll sign this lad anyway. You know no more than me, so get off your high horse!Your commitment to being wrong is impressive
He's a good keeper, was the best keeper in WC imo. Its just that he's just slightly better in coming of his line or claiming a cross than De Gea and that isnt enough for United. Every now and then he hesitates to come of his line but on the other hand he's ok to good with the ball in his feet (got better in this recently). But again not nearly enough good for the things ETH is looking for and that's probably to have a kepper who can start a play from the back.@Real Name I'll defer to your judgement mate! Excited by this?
