Missionary is a bit of a flop, despite Snoop elevating his pen game. The beats are garbage. Dr Dre is responsible for this being a mediocre album.

Doggystyle is a classic. Hard to compare the two really. Missionary isn’t bad - it just hasn’t had 30 years to mature. Doggystyle is vintage Snoop.
Both albums have got that dogg in them.

I thought the beats and production were decent tbh. It's not a standout album but nor is it a misstep. Snoop sounds much better on this than he has on most of his other, slightly less recent garbage.The most disappointing Missionary ever
