very worried about Fab ? seems totally unfit, (smokes like a
trooper) Thought he was suspect all last season.

cheers; dont mean to be disparraging but i think he is so
over rated. Made his name with France; never translates into club football..
Pisses me off the way he's always injured

and so is Frank Lebeouf. Everyone's time passes..

i know noone compares to schmeichs, but since he left ....
Two performances last year, Deportivo, he ruined Wes Browns confidence
with indecision, Arsenal, ned i say more. Compare that to Schmeichel V Newcastle where
he set us on road to double double. Also at frees he crouches
shoving off all the goal (apologies that was a bit Jimmy Hill) I honestly cant remember one amazing game from him?

Just out of my head, Panatinaikos home and away last season.

Stupid cnut, you don't have seen him often. Easy to pick his worst games to dismiss him.

dunno about the wind-up but instilling confidence is part of a keeper's job; fabien doesn't exactly inspire it anymore, in me at least.

Good first year with United.

Good with Toulouse, Marseille and Monaco, not only with the French team.

Bollocks.

He hasn't even started the season, and you're already dismissing him ! After all, we won the title with him in 2001.

easy tiger, truth be told hes a poison dwarf who doesnt
deserve the shirt, Caroll is a safer bet. .never known a keeper
to get injured as easy, and doesnt control the defence
Maye a bid for Ian Walker?........or his dad/

Bollocks. Leboeuf has only played one decisive game out of 13 if you count all the games of the European and World Cup, and two without importance (France already qualified). Fab has played all the games except one that wasn't decisive.

dismissing him? i don't think i've dismissed him at all; maybe something lost in translation there? united throughout the 90s had a very high pedigree with peter in goal. awe-inspiring to opposing strikers and defenders alike! this commanding presence is absent in our current goalkeeping, in both fabien and roy. i hope the former has a fantastic season and cuts out the concentration lapses; he just seems overly eager sometimes.

feck OFF. You're nothing compared to him.

Anyway, Fergie will decide, not you and Fab doesn't give a feck about what you can think. Whatever happens now, even the worst,he can be proud of his career, and most of the keepers can envy him :

- World Cup medal
- European Cup
- Champion's league
- 4 national title
- best keeper in the world award in 2000

If Barthez was Irish would you be calling for his head?

;)

Easy to blame Fab because he made a couple of bad errors last season. But he also made some brilliant saves.

And maybe the defence unsettled him rather than the other way round.

who are u, hs dad? or some euro pop DJ? for shurr! Im not a
city fan neither just a concerned red. Taking a leaf from Mad
Dog Roy, say it as u see it And we all know Keano doesnt rate him.
Good night

Keano likes him, he has praised him the first year and has defended him last year. I can cite the articles .

what he says in England is very different to over here.statto.
Christ he'd b gone if there was any cash left.
Whats the crack with ye all, u voice a concern and ur pilloried
to feck? Who do u think Fergie was referring to,whilst talkin about big names delivering
and cutting out individual errors. I honestly think he'll be dropped by
Hallowe'en........if he stays fit. Hope i'm wrong.......

peeps like you who support the notion of "what have you done for me lately," really put a sour taste in the mouths of genuine United supporters. we have no idea what was going on in fabians life last year, personal problems with his mum etc.. so feck, we should just drop his ass as he has done nothing for us. piss off and support the club, you don't like the choices that alex puts out on the pitch, then go play CM and manage your own squad!!

Obviously if Barthez repeats his very costly errors of last season, then we should really be concerned. But he was brilliant in his first season and I'm willing to overlook his gaffs last year, just as long as he cuts them out of his game and reproduces his best form.

it's true i think his bird problems cost him form last year, but if the reports are true that she left him coz he wouldnt leave the mighty shirts, then fab is our man and should be given credit where its due. just a tought.

Lets hook Fab together with chesty Jordan. Nursing a blind baby would help him concentrate on goalkeeping

> But he was brilliant in his first season

Yep, he was. We conceded far fewer in his first season, than with Schmikes in the Treble year. He lost it a bit last year, but so did everyone -from Fergie down.

This year, it sounds like there's a lot of focussing going on at OT, Fergie is saying and doing exactly the right things, and that's bound to rub off on the team, Fab included.

Fabien will be fine. He'll make a few cock ups and we'll all call for his head and then the next week he'll be unbeatable and we'll all say he's the best in the world. I am so glad I am not a goalie! ;)

No, she was depressed after losing a baby six months into her pregnancy (she has openly talked about it, she hadn't the choice as she had been photographed pregnant by paparazzi) and that ruined their story. Those stories about Linda not loving Manchester are bullshit, she had talked about her love for the town to the Manchester Evening News last year.At the end in Monaco they had already problems. After that it was an on-off relationship that certainly affected his concentration. But now it seems it's definitely finished between them (she seems to have found a new man). Most of the footballers have a stable personal life and I wish for him he found this stability, particularly as he has other personal problems. He likes to live it up, travels too often to Paris and Fergie should be more severe with him. This said, he has always worked and trained very hard.

As for Jordan, please no !

pig - support doesn't end with a disagreement on who saf puts out there. if he put May out to start ppl would support May (sweating) but be pissed that saf started him. to say bart was outstanding last yr would be wrong , he was a problem. he unsettled the back 4 as much as the back 4 unsettled him. he must play better or be benched. so says the chief! ;)
