Do you think Fergie will stick with current team selection?

Fergie was making noises that the stars didn't have an automatic route back into the first team. With that defeat, do you think he will change things again?

Beckham and Keane look definites to start imo. Rio will have to wait a little longer. Blanc will only be a reserve for the rest of the season. I think Ole will be sacrificed for Beckham (shame, he's played out of his skin recently) and Phil will make way for Keane.

I think he will revert back to a midfield of Beckham Veron Keane and Giggs. RVN to play off Scholes.

The back will remain unchanged.
 
He might - but to lose faith after one bad result wouldn't be a great idea imo.

the only thing id change against boro is RVN up front on his own against southgate and ugo

it will be a pointless task

ole and ruud upfront
 
The main thing will be tiredness and the need to keep players fresh especially with 9 matches in the XMas period. Thats why we have squad rotation. A number of players looked jaded against Blackburn, unfortunately, Ruud being one of them, and I'm not sure we have anyone to rotate with him - unless we buy someone in January.

Anyway the same players can't play twice a week the four competitions during the whole year (particularly as you haven't any truce - the English football is crazy :rolleyes: - ), and it's impossible to imagine players like Beckham or Keane warming the bench week after week...
 
fergie can't wait to get the "million" pound men back. he's said as much. managers - from your local pet store to the leader of a nation has to get "the fingers in the pie". this was the springboard for him to f about with a winning combo! "look at me i'm managing!"

i would put becks and veron for forlan and p.neville.....keano could play on Saturday....he needs a bit more training

Veron and Keane CAN play together, don't you fink. <img src="graemlins/snowman.gif" border="0" alt="[Snowman]" />
 
Definitely, Keane will replace Phil place to combine with veron playing in lower midfield position. Both good tacklers to help the defence and great passer to feed the attacks.

Agreed. He'd be too isolated again and it would be a long afternoon for Ruud. He needs some help up front against those two...I'd like to see Ole alongside him.
