Okay then all you budding managers. Lets have it.
We've had Weasties thread that asked you to say what needed changing and why. So now lets see who can predict the actual signings.

Only one per position allowed and you can put 'no one' if you don't think anybody will be signed there.

Remember those you think WILL come not those you would necessarily like.

Here's mine:

Goalkeeper: Robinson (ok by me)

Defender: Escude (good signing)

Midfielder: Quaresma (don't know much about him but he's been linked for some time now)

Striker: Shevchenko (just a feeling. He's not on song for Milan at the moment so we could get a good deal. Moreover, it might come down to players who are willing to move to Manchester rather than London. I think this is the sticking point for the likes of Ronaldhino, Cisse and some of the other Latins we've been linked with.)

GK: James - I think Fergie (and Coton) like him. But I hope I'm wrong.

Defender: Escude. Need cover at LB if you're going to play Sylvestre at CB, esp with Neville the Younger moving into midfield

Midfield: Duff - reckon that Blackburn would sell at the right price, gives Fergie more options

Striker: Dafoe - the 'appy 'ammers aren't so 'appy financially at the mo - they need to generate income.

I like to think I know exactly what we need. Its not the same as what I want, some players I just covet and its like " I WANT THIS GUY!".

GK: Robinson is my pick. But Fergie may go for someone cheap like Rustu. But we need a good one. If we get Robinson he can grow up alongside Rio and Brown, future England 3-some there.

Defence: We have a great young defence and I, like Fergie will be happy to see them develop. So we dont want to hinder that by buying someone who will relegate them to the bench. Someone like Blanc was perfect cover. I think Cafu since he is available and still quality. instead of buying experience, we will let our "kids" go out and win things and gain experience.

I would like to get Mexes, however that would mean converting Brown to RB permanently?

Midfield: Cover for wings. Quaresma and Duff would be great.

Striker, alternative to Ruud. Bellion, Defoe, Kluivert, all could fit the bill. We ned someone to be the 1 in our 4-5-1. Forlan and Ole cant do it.

FINALLY: I would like to think that the team can actually beat any team in the world. As long as they play. Sometimes they kind of go in their shell, Giggs particularly, and they dot perform.

Did you not watch the Turin match then?

maybe theyll go for adding a blend of youth and experience at the back, someone who can grow with our existing young lads.
mexes has played in the champions league, i just dont know then where our 'stopper' is going to come from - tweetie?

Ole doesn't do a bad job of it but he doesn't exactly replace Ruud, does he? Ole upfront by himself is a bit too lightweight.

Not necessarily a bad proposition but an entirely different one.
