Do we really have a psychologist on staff ?

If so, why is Antony always kicking out and wanting to fight anyone who tackles him and being a moment from a red card.

Why does Casemiro make 2 or 3 bookable red card tackles a game ?

Why is Bruno screaming and falling over and rolling around and complaining?

None of this is productive. Should we not see an improvement in player common sense if we have a psychologist ?

We fans need psychologists as well. It’s that frustrating.

But chill guys. It is what it is.I’m sure they’ll improve next season:angel:

Too many players with the wrong mentality and character at the club. Our shirt is heavy and you have to be able to handle the pressure.

Fighting is good.

Shows who gives a feck about the badge and the club. Harry seldom gets into a verbal argument with his team mates which says alot about his commitment. Though I don't mind him fecking off anyways.

Manchester United are FINED £7,500 by the FA after failing to control the 'provocative behaviour' of their Under 18 side following an FA Youth Cup defeat to Stoke City in January

we seem to be developing a culture of stupidity at all levels.

Yes, but not a very good psychologist department, it seems. Lack of consistency in players mentality, I'll discipline off the field, and lack of authority with the previous manager as well. However, it does start at the top so when you have awful owners who hire diabolical chief executives like Ed Woodward ( still not sure about Richard Arnold yet, seems indecisive) then you are likely to have a cascade of mediocrity and a poorly run club that does not set an example.

Can you imagine what today's CAF would make of Keano, Robbo or nutty Norman if Antony and Casemiro are the benchmark for being problematic!

I think some people don't understand what a psychologist does.
They wash brains, everyone knows this. Are you someone who struggles with frustration that results in aggressive outbursts? Maybe you've been like this since a small kid. Think this will need years of therapy? Think again! Let the psychologist take that brain out and rinse it under a warm tap. Now your brain is cleared of all nasty thoughts, tada!

Legit, people here were moaning about how we get bullied and now we have some fighters. Still moaning.

I thought they shrunk heads? Hard to be angry if you've got a tiny head, and even if you are, no one will take you seriously.

I thought they cut around your skull with a small saw, lifted the top off, then proceeded to cut out, fry off and feed you the parts of the brain that were causing the problems.

Getting sent off in match because you can't control your emotions does not help your team for the rest of that game, and the next three games that you are going to miss.

If you are not benefitting or harming your team because you can't control your emotions, you need behavioural therapy. Behavioural therapy is a sub-set of phycology.

Therefore our sports phycologist should be working with those on the team who need this form of help.

Comparing tackles and behaviour to 20 or 30 years ago isn't relevant. The game has changed. Many tackles and actions that we allowable back the are not now. Players need to behave to the standards of today.

Must admit the stories about that focus when Ten Hag first came in did make me quite hopeful but it doesn't seem like we've seen many improvements in mentality.

Players probably aren't forced into it though. Rashford's bounce back could be a positive result for all we know whilst the likes of Antony may not even have sessions.

How many times has this happened this season?

I thought that until yesterday the narrative was that Casemiro’s red cards were ref mistakes?

Brighton was leaving boot in on most occasions during the match. Quite similar to Palace tactics. Think what got him wound up was the foul not given on Rashford by the linesman 3 feet away. He then goes to beat 2 players and the second one does a number on him again no foul. This incident would never have happened if Rashford ,who wining the ball 99% doesn't fall over for no reason whatsoever other than he was fouled.

Casemiro again that second challenge Brighton are shouting for a yellow( to make it a red) is marginally a free kick 50/50 nowhere near a yellow other than Brighton fans shouting for one ,so everyone then has to agree with them ? i don't think so.

Bruno was intentionally stamped on by Caicedo which wasn't an attempt to get the ball but a clear stamp, yet no var review. Yeah Bruno moaning but everyone of our counterattack was disrupted in one way or other by shithousery from Brighton. If you think different you didnt watch the full game with an open mind and just went the pro Brighton commentators and crowd plus a Ref you has it in for us.

What I would say to Bruno if someone is coming to chest pump or hit you , take it and go down like you were shot the opposition needs the s.housery turned on them when they are up to it, but we are not clever enough to engage in it successfully.

Have you watched a full city match the nonsense they get up to in the final third ? Grealish 9 out 10 instigates contact resulting in getting a free kick, its clever, but a wind up none the less. They surround the ref all the time moaning. Bruno isn't on his own here. Its highlighted by commentators as he plays for United but he is no better or worse than others. There is very little support for in any media outlets other than Bravo Brighton. If that was being done to City, Liverpool or Arsenal there supporters embedded in the media would be all over it.

All that is fair .

There was one occasion yesterday where Fred got fouled 3 times, then lost possession, then lightly made contact with a Brighton player and the referee instantly gave the free kick to Brighton. It was similar with Antony
