Do threads disappear?

MAy sound a little funny, and many of you probably don't notice, but a topic has just disappeared..

i'm not sure who started the topic, but it was about Fergie confirming that Keane will be out until new year..

there were 1-2 responses including mine.. and when i came back to the forum after 10 minutes the thread disappeared! anyone knows?

Weastie, if you're reading this you would know it actually disappeared because you also responded to the post..

does anyone know? was it moved? or deleted?

If the contents has been posted in anothr thread, then they get deleted.

No point having 65 topics all open at the same time about the same stuff.

a thread can either be deleted by the one who posted it or by a moderator...

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I started that thread and it disappeared. I figured the moderator took it off for some reason.

there should atleast be a notice board on which threads got deleted!

strange this happens, considering that the MODs rarely mess around with the posts.. even ones with exteme usage of bad language..

another thing that would be good would be a search engine on this message board, so u dont have to go finding old topics from a couple months ago etc.. i've seen it on other football boards

That can be turned on or off with this board, it's the decision of the admin. The same is the ability for all of us to post polls etc.
