With the window running down I’m a little concerned they might not.

Missing a day or so due to the Bank Holiday weekend could really cost us in the transfer market given the business we need to do before the deadline.

Does anyone have confidence they’ll both be working, especially with the good weather we are seeing?

They work. The rumour mongerers and make stuff uppers do not

Fairly sure you’re working 18 hours every day in high executive positions like theirs

They were last seen Friday lunchtime packing up their wind breaks and inflatables.

Factoring in hangovers we’re not likely to see them until Wednesday at earliest when they will reason that there’s not enough time to make anything happen.

I think you’re joking but the end to this window is very important to us so I hope everyone is working hard and not taking their foot off the gas.

Arnold told us that Murtough has been working long hours all summer to get the players ETH needs - so I’m sure this means weekends and holidays as well. Why should we not trust Dick Arnold? Not like he sat in a pub and fed supporters lies, he’s as trustworthy and honourable as Woodward - only wants the best for MUFC.

At that level you're always on for the important stuff.

It amazes me that we go weeks, months without getting close to a signing when we have people working 12+ hours every day who's job it is to get signings over the line.

What?

We take the piss out of the United execs but they’re probably lifetime workaholics

Definitely thread worthy

Murtough comes in on Tuesday morning to a 100 voicemails from De Jong agent and Barcelona, and wonders why he spent the day being dragged around the Arndale Centre by his Mrs.

"Yes dear, very nice. Nice. Amine Gouiri. What? Sorry dear I was just saying very nice, yes you should buy that one"
