Djordjic off to Aarhus on loan

Bojan Djordjic joins up with Aarhus (Denmark) on monday for his first practice session with them. On loan for the rest of the season, my guess is that he won't return to OT.

That's a good move.

I mean - we're overloaded aren't we.....

Unbelievable, he's able to be a backup to Giggs on that flank, Fortune is out for 6 weeks and Giggs is injured regularly. We should give our kids more of a chance.

Well with all the injuries at the moment I would say that now would be the time to give Djordjic a chance. Sending him off on loan now, with loads of midfielders injured, is probably a signal to Djordjic to look for other options than OT. I was under the impression that Djordjic was getting closer and closer to the first team but apparently that was wrong.

some times it just sucks to not be in the know as to WTF someone is thinking at OT... Why send him off on loan when we are running a M*A*S*H unit at OT??

Because he will never make it at the club, and at the moment he has Forlan, Pugh and Richardson ahead of him in the line for that left midfield spot.

AEBM: Didn't you know that now is the time to run around like a chicken with it's head cut off? Therefore I'd be grateful if you would keep your rational opinions to yourself.

Maybe SAF and his coaching staff have known from day one he has the talent to play for the club but thought they could curb his attitude. Hes been with us for a while and obviously they still dont believe he has the temperament to suceed here. If so playing him at smaller clubs will let him know he must earn a chance to play at the biggest club in Europe. Hes drinking in the lastchance Saloon at Aarhus. If he doesnt come back and knuckle down, he can go back to Sweden. ;) Otherwise why else would we send him out on loan when we have a few injuries probs ? Sounds like we are sending a message to the lad that he may not be wanted.

He's an immature bastard. He talks about himself like he's as good as Zidane, when in fact he isn't even a regular squad player for the Swedish U21 team.

That, and more... ;)

Losing him will be a mistake. Fortune is obviously never going to make the grade. Forlan is a best a makeshift replacment from giggs. Djordjic has a lot of skill and to say he's not going to make the grade is a bit premature. He was outstanding against Celtic in pre-season a year ago. I think he was in line for a few starts last season but for once giggs remained relatively injury free
