I'm going to see DJ Premier tomorrow, I can't wait. My brother's going to live abroad soon, so we've got everyone to come out for a few 'leaving' parties, and this is the first one.

That aside, I can't wait for Primo anyway, it should be amazing! I've got to get right in the mood, so today and tomorrow is non-stop Premier! I'll see if I can download the set afterwards and post it up for you lot.

I can imagine mate! I'm going to listen to all of the Crooklyn Cuts Tapes before he comes on. If he plays anything from that era, then I'll go mental.

I'm not sure, I'll give it a shot anyway! I know my brother and friend managed to get Jazzy Jeff to sign some clothes, speak to them, take pictures with them etc so hopefully Primo will be the same.

He was here a couple of weeks ago but I missed out. Really regret that.

On another note, I went to see Mos Def last night.

It was absolutely brilliant and he was at it for a good two and a half hours, so I was fecking knackered afterwards. Just Blaze had an afterparty after the gig but I could hardly stand on my own two feet after the concert so I passed on that.

I saw Mos Def live 2 weeks ago in the Warehouse Project in Manchester. I'm a huge fan of his but I've got to admit, I was a bit disappointed with the gig. He didn't do enough songs from his first album and his tribute to Kanye was a bit unneccesary (it could have been to do with his mum dying in which case a couple of songs would have been fine, but not the six or so that he played). That being said, it was a really good night and he looked like he was enjoying himself, which is always a good sign.

I agree with the Kanye part to some degree, although he was on for so long that I didn't really feel that he replaced some of his original act with KW songs...
