I don't think we can judge his ability until we see him play... he has obviously scored some goals for Independiente as we can see in the clips from their site but it doesn't say much does it? ... my vote is therefore.. "undecided wait and see"....
From what I've seen on TV of him in the Argentinian league, I think he'll do well.
does anyone think he'll take some time to settle down?

Undecided, I'll wait and see when he makes his debut and scores a hatful off goals.
I think he is a good buy. The reason United lost some of the previous games is because Fergie decided to rest the key players. When CL starts again, he'll probably decide to do the same thing (although I wouldn't) and rest van Nistelrooy. Now, this is where Forlan comes in. If he can score some goals than we have a chance of winning the league. We know that Yorke wouldn't be able to score and our title would go down the drain.
However, we also need Di Canio in case van Nistelrooy gets injured.
All in all, Solskjaer will probably play more games than van Nistelrooy or Forlan, unless Forlan settles in and starts scoring like crazy.
I think SAF will stay here for another season if we don't win anything.
PS. Does anyone think that Kluivert would be a great buy over the summer (if Cisse decides to stay in Auxere) alongside Hofland? After all, RVN did say that he'd like to play alongside him.
I do see this happening if LV Gaal comes in.
