Somehow, it doesn't feel like our approach in the transfer market or our football structure within the club has changed that much after Woodward's departure? Or is it just me?

Recruiting was a problem under Woodward. Continues to be a problem now.

We got worse. We brought Rangnick in to oversee a restructure then basically gave all the recruiting power to Ten Hag, who then went and signed a load of his old players, presumably not bothering with the whole scouting/analytics/whatever systems we have in place.

No. Which was entirely predictable since the rest were still there. Too many were getting their hopes up about the 'restructure' at the time.
