Not yet. Just started downloading it after reading your post. I'm plodding through the 2nd season of Criminal Minds now. Pretty good, I must say.

He's got a new dumping ground though. Thought he was going to go for the Everglades or the pig farm ala Snatch like the Japanese Guy suggested. That black guy never liked him from the 1st season. Always said he's going to keep an eye out for him at the end of the 1st season.
Yeah and it was so ridiculously simple you wondered why didn't pick that spot in the first place. I always thought an incinerator would be a good pick. That japanese guy is a good character. I have to say though the acting from the supporting characters hasn't impressed me.
The sister is lame. the ex-captain is strange, as is the new one. The black,hispanic and asian cops (how politically correct
) are all pretty one dimensional. Only dexter and his brother have impressed me. Even the flashbacks to his dad are for lack of a better word gay.Dee-dee is too stupid

The proper season started a few weeks back and the 3rd episode aired last Sunday. Just got back from my hometown and am watching it now.
Well at least now the Sergeant will be off Dexter's ass.

Well, things are getting interesting. Lundy is starting to figure Dexter out. And that idiot Doakes found Dexter's victims blood stash.
It's pretty obvious how S2's gonna end IMO. Dexter will kill and frame Doakes as the Bay harbour butcher.
Frame Lila possibly since Lila has turned out ot be a bit of an asshole. Maybe she has some secret in her life that Dexter might find out. We all know that Dexter has his code to follow after all and only kills scumbags. Doakes at the moment is a pain in his ass, not a scumbag to society yet.
Hmm yeah thats very plausible as well. But eventually they will explore the scenario when Dexter kills an innocent person and run with this in S3.

Is Doakes as good as dead, or will the slides he found be inadmissible because of the B&E to obtain it? Maybe though, Doaks will get off his back when he figures out he's the Bay Harbour Butcher...as Doakes himself has clearly operated under a similar MO recently.
Yeah, I see alot of people are pointing that out actually. how Doakes just went on to kill those people in the line of duty without feeling regret. About how him mentioning to that police chief lady that he might be interested being a butcher will come back to bite him in the ass. About how people might question how he got the slides in the 1st place, how it might actually be his. It is possible that he might actually take the fall.

I don't actually remember who he first killed. But considering that Dexter has been trying to take him down and how Doakes had ti out for Dexter ever since the 1st episode of the 1st season, doubt that he'll have any newfound respect for Dexter or anything of that sort.
Convinced now that Doakes will take the fall. That's foreshadowing, can't believe I missed while I was watching it.
Your theory might be coming true, crappy. Although Dexter is still contempleting sticking to Harry's code, not screwing with the innocent. Recent developments suggests he might have to though.

Not quite as good an episode as those that have gone before, the tension had to break at some point and I'm not sure they've gone the right route for the answers, still 3 episodes to go so a lot of time for them to go in another direction.
I'm favouring towards Lila somehow being framed considering how she's really been a bitch, don't see that happening though. Akthough it might be interesting to see what makes Dexter sways from Harry's code if he let it stick on Doakes.
He will have to kill Doakes. That's how it would end. Would give the show a new direction, his first innocent kill.
Though there is a possibility that he frames Laila for it and Doakes and him make up. But that would suck IMO, they are turning Dexter into too much of a super hero. He needs to have a strong dark side, killing Doakes would explore that more.

Seeing that this is TV, there is also the probability of that all so famous formula of Doakes having an accident resulting in amnesia.
Or he framed Lila and they write Doakes' insistence off as the fact he's a maniac. Once it's been resolved somehow, Doakes might just shut his mouth because he knows no one's listening. Although that seems unlikely.

??? maybe your amnesia idea is going to occur. Doakes looked pretty traumatized after Dex iced that dealer and he was a Special Forces guy. I'd assume they are pretty cold, but he looked shaken...post-traumatic stress disorder?
