Devil May Cry 4

Whats it like on PS3 Weaste?

Will use this info to figure it out for 360, use to play 3 a little on the ps2 but didn't really get into it, however, I have begun to enjoy shooters and action/adventure games more over the last year.

One of my favourite games series' this. There's nothing like repetitive big sword Japanese style action.

Fair enough, may pick it up after the summer once I get through the others I have randomly bought.

I don't play games on my laptop, barring footy manager..

Its probably not powerful enough tbh.

i got it off warez-bb last night, im suprised how well it runs, although apparantly its not actually a port. they made it actually for the PC and it is optimized extremely well.

Same old Devil May Cry for me, enjoyed the first and the third, 2 and 4 were disappointing for me.

The series needs to reinvent itself IMO.

They were absolutely ace on the PS2 (except for number 2, that was shite...at least I think i was no.2)

DMC4 is a tad bit disappointing for me though, not a bad game though - shoulda really stayed a PS3 exclusive and that way it would of been better.

Besides terrible anime esque overly dramatic dialogue and storyline I think this is the best edition since the first game

i bought it on 360 when it first came out, only compelted first level, gave up with it after that, i dont like the save system, you seem to have to do loads between the save points, if you die during one of the boss fights, you had to do half the level again

Try playing metroid prime (Metroid Prime and Echoes are still two of the best games ever made)

I actually dislike game save points, it defeats the purpose. I like the old fashioned lives system, you lose them, you start from the beginning of the game, not the level.

You would! Although i will agree with ya, having tons of save points about the place does make it a lot easier. The new Prince of Persia could have been played by a blind racoon and they'd still finish the game eventually.

And then there's games like BioShock where you not only regenerate, but certain enemies like the Big Daddies don't replenish their health. In effect, you could bring one down with a wrench if you're perserverent enough.
