Desert Island Disc...(Games)

With a slight twist.

Here's the question. If you had to be marooned on a desert island for the rest of your days, what one game, on any platform, would you choose to take with you? Before one of the resident smartarses chips in, yes you do get the console/computer, joypad, all connecting cables, and a means to power it into infinity.

So what game would it be, bearing in mind you will have to play it for the rest of your life(or in the case of those using an Xbox-a few months until you get the red rings of death;)) , as your only source of entertainment in an otherwise empty husk of a life-if you don't count talking to, and drawing a face on, a beach-ball, of course.

Mine would be PES6 on PS2. I don't really play anything other than sports games on the computer, so a football game is an absolute must. My favourite games ever are PES, and there's a bit of longevity in it etc.

What say the rest of you lot?

Metal Gear Solid 2. PS2.

Endless hours of playing time in that game, never gets old.

PES 6 is a good shout on PS2 but how about Tetris? Insanely addictive that one.

Do we have internet connectivity i.e. can we play a multiplayer?!

No. That would be ridiculous. All we have is a perpetual way to power the console, and a way to keep it in full working order regardless of the problem. Internet connectivity.....well I never:rolleyes::)

ah, this all makes sense now...

i would have said pes 6 but its gets boring against the computer, i would probably choose red alert 2 with yuris revenge, i loved that game

Hmm... if we had internet connectivity then I'd pick World of Warcraft, since I ploughed almost one hundred days into that game.

Since there isn't any then I'll probably pick Morrowind with all of its assorted mods and expansions. Almost endless replayability.

If there's internet, PES 6.....

if not..then any of the recent GTAs...What better to take away your loneliness than have a whole city for yourself to explore and conquer?
