Denzel has got to have the most symmetrical face in Hollywood.

Generally dont like his acting. Was terrible in that Man on Fire movie. And I thought Ethan Hawke did a better job in Training Day than denzel. And I dont even like Ethan Hawke much. Before Sunrise and Before Sunset are probably his only good movies. Actually reality Bites was alright but he was rubbish in it.

Saw a play some time back with Rebecca Hall and Ethan Hawke in it. Chekov's Cherry Orchard. Directed by Sam Mendes. Kevin Spacey was art director. Was expecting so much but turned out to be quite bad. And both Rebecca and Ethan were either having a bad day or are terrible stage actors. everyone else better than them.

Spoony has spoken, though I do disagree with him. John Q was also another very good film of his, as was the Hurricane.

You'll be dissing Nicolas Cage next:nono:

Anderson Searl's top 10 favorite Denzel Washington films.

10. Glory (Before my time, but a strong performance)
9. Remember the Titans (One of my favorite sports films)
8. The Hurricane (Don't care what anyone says, better than Smith's portrayal as Ali)
7. The Manchurian Candidate (Outshined by Streep, but still an amazing job)
6. Antwone Fisher (Amazing directing)
5. John Q (Brilliant and aggressive performance)
4. Malcolm X (An emotionally driven performance)
3. American Gangster (under-rated performance, deserved more accolades)
2. Man on Fire (Groundbreaking determination in this role)
1. Training Day (One of the single greatest performances of all-time)

Man on Fire was incredibly rubbish. And he was horrible at trying to play a drunk.

Nah, Denzel the killing machine was a sight to behold.

Plus, he talked Marc Anthony into offing himself.

Of course, the Hollywood ending wasn't ideal. The rumoured original ending would have been much better.

at the pre-inauguration event at the Lincoln Memorial and when Denzel was introduced he got a bigger cheer from the crowd than Obama did.
one of the 40-something black women behind me was cooing "ummm, ummm, that man is fine!"

I liked Man on Fire, I sometimes just want to watch some entertaining action and it provides it.

Jesus take it easy now.

You failed to include Fallen, a better movie than half of them and easily one of his better performances.

He's a good actor if a tad one dimensional, bit like Morgan Freeman in that respect
