Is the option gone? How do I do it?

I haven't tested it in the new software but it used to be that if you started the thread then deleting your own first post deleted the thread.
It's on the top right in "thread tools"
Mine just has edit title and create poll options. I can delete a post, but not the OP.

Most likely to do with the user permissions change Niall did a while back. Wouldn't have been intentional. I'll alert him to this and he can sort it out

Only mods and admins should have thread deletion privileges. Aldo what thread is that?
