Defoe & Vassell

I either of them could partner Ruud. I'm surprised hardly anyone has mentioned these two players as i think thyre two of the best finishers in the country and both are young.

both are fantastic ... but the problem is I think both are very important to their current team (which are both English) and I bet - if we ever say anything like "transfer" ... a sky-high fee will be mentioned ... like 15mil or something like that ... ...so no point mentioning really ...

Defoe is a short midget with no creative skills and to similar to Owen. Such a partnership would be knackered by good defenders imo.


Vassel is the only one worth considering. He plays like Yorke. But he would be too expensive to pry away from Villa.

You pay scouts a lot of money to find them. Or in our case not to find them.

i've always prefered a little and large partnership myself rather than two tall and lanky that get in each others way all the time.

The best partnesrships for me are direct and skilffull. Someone direct like Ruud or Ole with a strong, speedy and skillful forward like Henry or Rivaldo alongside 'em.
