With the hammers probably going down, they'll be in dier financial state and will have to off-load some of there players. Do you think we'd be right in trying to get defoe?, he's young, quick, great feet and a good finisher?, if we dont get cisse then surely defoe would be second choice?

your opinions, peeeeeelease

I really can't see anything wrong with Jermaine Defoe... Should be a great asset to have. Young too!

But, I would feel sorry for Danny Webber, Jimmy Davis, and Daniel Nardiello, would we swoop for Defoe. Our three youngsters might go down the pecking order. And I think they are all three of them deserving of a chance to make it in the first team.

Definetely....should improve n the next few months as well...and he would be prety cheap

They haven't been in the pecking order at all this season, except Nardiello for 1 or 2 games.

I wouldnt mind signing Defoe, id prefer Cisse but at a clinch he would be a good player to have, similar to Andy in alot of ways aswell!

I think Defoe is a little more decisive on goal than Andy Cole is. Better finisher.

I defoe would be a bad signing I think he is overated and probably an ok signing for a team Everton but not a team chasing the league and Europe.

Right. Damn all these short midgets. What we need is tall midgets.

Who cares if Defoe is a midget. He is quick, very quick even. And has more than once rocked us, playing for West Ham. He is a good scorer. And improving. He will be a great buy, in my opinion.

He is a very good player who would improve greatly at a club like ours but have to agree that IMO a big guy with pace like Cisse has 2b the answer for us

Be real you peop's who wan't Defoe. We could have just broke the bank if we wanted an Owen type player by getting the real thing. When the Arse have a Henry with pace and power thereatning defences with skills you want us to use a small, powerless bee? NO THANKS! Give me the raw skill pace and power of Bellion or Cisse or even Beattie any day above him as a partner/option for Ruud :cool

Not instead of Cisse. No way!

He should be our first striker choice!
