Whats the general opinion?
For me its a top up between FRIGHT NIGHT and the LOST BOYS. I think its gotta be FRIGHT NIGHT for me though.
I liked from dusk til dawn because of selma hayek. But for me its probably got to be John Carpenters Vampires. Very good movie
JC's Vampires is a frigging western with vampires. He rips off like no-one else these days. I hate any movie that has the directors name in the title too.
Also Interview with the Vampire was good.
whats the one with the vampire hunter and then he goes and tries to find the main big vampire? theres a church involved to? sorry for the sketchy descriptions

This it the scariest scene from any vampire film: www.youtube.com/watch?v=56hu5gh
Near Dark, that was the one I was trying to think of. A less childish version of Lost Boys.Near Dark was a good film that veered away from the whole suave-vamp-swanning-around-in-evening dress myth.
Vamp was enjoyable and Martin is an interesting take on the subject.
Hammer films are what I grew up on though. The old plastic bat on a fishing pole used to be effective.
Dracula: Dead and Loving It!
Interview with a Vampire.
What a great film.
Hmm you cnuts forgot Interview with the Vampire and the Blade movies![]()
The original, the first Christopher Lee Hammer one, and Nosferatu.
looking forward to "30 days of night"
