As an oasis fan since my early teens these are two of my fave albums of all time, and Im sure most of us could agree they are the two best Oasis albums by a country mile. The question is which is better?

Definately maybe:

In 1997 Definitely Maybe was named the 14th greatest album of all time in a 'Music of the Millennium' poll conducted by HMV, Channel 4, The Guardian and Classic FM.

In Channel 4's '100 Greatest Albums' countdown in 2005, the album was placed at number 6.

In 2006, NME placed the album third in a list of the greatest British albums ever, behind The Stone Roses and The Smiths' The Queen Is Dead.

In a recent British poll, run by NME and the book of British Hit Singles and Albums, Definitely Maybe was voted the best album of all time with The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band finishing second and Revolver third.

Q magazine readers placed it at number five on their greatest albums of all time list in 2006 and in that same year NME hailed it as the greatest album of all time.

In a 2008 poll by Q and HMV in 2008, Definitely Maybe was ranked first on a list of the greatest British albums of all time

As a debut album its surely one of the best ever and a classic in its own right.

Whats the story (morning glory):

(What's the Story) Morning Glory? was eventually released on 2 October 1995. The album sold quickly; the Daily Mirror reported the day after release that central London HMV stores were selling copies of the album at a rate of two per minute. At the end of the first week of sales, (What's the Story) Morning Glory? had sold 347,000 copies, making it (at the time) the third fastest selling album in UK chart history, behind Michael Jackson's Bad and U2's Rattle and Hum.[1] It was knocked off of the top spot after just one week, by Simply Red's Life. However, sales remained consistent and the album returned to the top spot for six weeks from 13 January 1996, before being temporarily knocked off the top spot for one week by The Bluetones Expecting to Fly, and then a three week run from 2 March 1996. In total, the album spent 10 weeks at number one and was the second best selling album of 1995 and 1996, behind Robson & Jerome and Alanis Morissette respectively.

My personal choice would be Whats the story, simply for the sheer genius of the title track and Champagne supernova, but what do you think?
