Defeat by Boro no disgrace

Like most Reds fans, I'm devastated by our second defeat of the season at the hands of United Old Boy Steve McClaren.

It really puts a dent in our title chances. But we shouldn't be too upset- we were outclassed on the day by the better side. We all know Paul Ince's qualities, and it's been a long time since we've had such promising young players as Luke Wilkshire gracing the Theatre of Dreams. Boksic, as everyone knows, is just world class.

So let's not be too down-hearted: you never know when Liverpool and Arsenal will slip up!!!

There are plenty of points to be dropped by everyone still

But Liverpool and Arsenal will likely have to slip up more than once because we have some difficult games left against Chelsea, Leeds and the key one against the Gunners. Lets not forget if they win their games in hand they will be five points clear of us. That is a huge gap at this stage in the season.
