December 7th.......

Cockney arrogance as its best. Wonderful ...

I gave ARSE their due last year but still you fell short in the Champions League. At times you look fantastic going forward but you are not as good at the back as you have been in the past. Maybe you need a few more foreingers get rid of campbell and cole and then you might lift the giant trophy :p

I like how you put the ironic smiley on the end, proves you don't believe your own bullshit

Don´t give a shit about Arsenal tho at the moment as we have a game against Liverpool coming up. You´re building yourself up for a high fall, Cockney cnut ...

I live down fecking south, and it's amazing how many lifelong Arsenal fans have suddenly sprouted up. I'm sure they'll all disappear back into the cesspit suburb of North London after you've been horsed and are left with a mid-table team full of French poofs dreaming of pastures new. Yous are absolutely nothing, a flava of the month, Blackburn and Newcastle reincarnate. Thierry Henry can take his Va Va Voom and stick it up his arse. Best team in Europe? Yeah, that explains what happened with Auxerre and Dortmund.

Actually I hope you gooners keep up with your over-confidence and arrogance, we like being the underdogs, and Ruud is gonna tear that ugly feck Keown apart. :p

The proof of the pudding remains in the eating.

I acknowledge Arsenal as a fine football team.

Just aint cut it yet at the highest level for long enough.

Only 1 true champions chummy.

After we'd been ninth around christmas, hauling ourselves to the top only to throw it away. Class team Arsenal.

Glory Hunter? WOW do you want a Nobel Prize for your originality. You come on here acting the big man now all things are rosy, but we'll see how cocky you gooners are on December 8th (or 7th afternoon) and come May. You couldn't retain last time, and your not going to retain this time. fecking bottlers.

Manchester?....so why aren't you a City fan ?....For what it's worth....I've been going to Arsenal since 1968....a season ticket holder...and although I now live near Sevenoaks in Kent...i grew up and went to school in Highbury (Highbury Park, actually,if you know it )

And what's RVN,Silvestre,Forlan,Veron,Barthez,OGS,Fortune,O'Shea,etc...foreigners??....or don't you like those players...because they are foreigners ???

I've been going since ya-ya. I went to school in ya-ya.

Bollocks. Sounds like a glory hunter to me. Your probably just some 8 year old prick trying to win a bet with his mates to see who would join a Man United messageboard and act the giddy goat.

Lets see, because Arsenal is not going to have, Campbell, Vieira and possibly Cole because he decided to shoot off his mouth to the ref after Arsenal self destructed against Southampton. Without them, or even with them and a weak side for United, Reds have just as good a chance as anyone to win.

Ha ha ha...laughing my fecking arse off....you are still in denial about last year ?!

You were well and truly beaten last year...and I was at OT to see just how crap you were....if you don't believe me...why not ask that psychotic captain of yours ,who,at least ,had more
grace in losing than you seem to have.

Yeah Yeah Yeah. Change the fecking record. Have an original thought for once in your life. If you are still living under the illusion that everyone who lives in Manchester supports City take a walk around the City and you'll see as many united shirts being worn as City ones.

born again mancunians. Note Ruud kissing his shirt and Ole madly celebrating when he scores - some of your players probably couldnt care where they played.

I was the first to acknowledge how well you have played. You were frightening at times, yet you have pointed out my very point - "I was at OT to see just how crap you were...: proves last season at times we were crap but you only just won the league.

If you've been going since '68 Gillespie, that will make you at least about 40 years old. Why don't you behave like a grown up instead of a 12 year old yet to reach his puberty?

i said a team full of foriegners dickhead or dont u understand enlish anymore would u like me to type it in french for u

shall i start a list of our english homegrown talent

beckham, scholes, p neville, g neville, butt, chadwick, brown

then some british as well like giggs and o shea

knob

And to answer your initial question: Luckily the best team doesn't always win football games (and yes, Arsenal is currently the best team in England). You only have to go back to Saturday when the mighty Saints hammered you lot for proof. Add to that the fact that we have class players who can win games against anyone in the world - that's why I reckon we can beat you.

No Vierira got his fith yellow card against Southampton on Saturday. Are you sure your a fan Gillespie? Cause if you were watching the same match I was, Vieira got a yellow card and from what I hear, it is his fifth which means, he won't be at Old Trafford a week from this Saturday. Too bad.

To be fair,AEBM,you do make some valid points. My somewhat 'puerile' behaviour (as you put it earlier) is slightly fuelled by the celebratory tone(and liquid nourishment) of this evening, and who can blame me ??

Let's be serious for a moment....there are some big games coming up,not just in the CL but also in the PL.

I think your match against the Scousers is too close to call on Sunday, though on the basis it's about time you beat them, well, maybe you will.

The more interesting game (at least to me )is the game against us at OT on Dec 7th.I'm not sure if Vieira is suspended or not....but if he plays...we will not lose....of that I am certain.

As to CL,to be honest,it's a bit of a lottery and I do believe that there are up to as many as 7 teams that could get to the final.

Who do I think can win it?,,,,,,Real,Valencia,AC Milan,Arsenal......possibly Inter/Man Utd/Juventus

If I were to narrow the range...well,Arsenal/Valencia/Milan/Real
I just don't see you lot doing it this year....aand you could fail to make the Quarter finals. So,that's my view.

That was my initial view...however,I now understand (to be honest, yet to be confirmed) that the first of his 'yellows' was in the Charity Shield ,which apparently doesn't count...but I'm willing to be better advised on this,if you know better?

You will not lose?? Did you think you were going to lose at Southampton or Everton?? Stupid predictions like that tend to come back to haunt you.

As for the CL, I think you're going to lose to Valencia & Ajax. Just my $0.02

As I have already posted Vieira will not be suspended, neither will Ashley Cole, only Sol Campbell will be suspended and we have Martin Keown back now. If I could choose anyone to mark RvN than it would be Keown, no doubt the best man-marker in the premiership.

You poor sod, obviously only watch your beloved United. Go ahead, name a better man-marker.

I'm even further south. I met my first Arsenal fan about five years ago. Since then I've met so many lifelong fans.

Even during the bad days of relegation we were the best supported side - and we still are.
