Himannv

Tactics

This will be a normal line with the main mode of attack being speed and quickly getting the ball forward as opposed to patient buildup.

Attack
- Quick attacks and quick transitions.
- Try to double up on opposition fullbacks and attack from the flanks with Breitner supporting.
- Best and Boniek switch flanks at times.
- FBs overlap whenever possible.
- Bergkamp creates chances and also plays others in using his touch to cause problems for the opposition.
- Romario constantly makes runs into the box and looks to score.

Defence:
- Normal line.
- Makelele is a constant shield for the back 4 and is ably supported by Breitner who is more box-to-box.
- Wingers/WFs drop back to support their fullback.
- The team operate as two banks of 4 when defending and generally practice zonal defense.

EAP Tactics

Formation: 4-2-2-2

Tactics: Play to my advantage through the middle.

Solid defensive line + GK. Nothing spectacular, but good to get the job done. Classic Stopper/Sweeper combo with Forster's physicality and Hierro's passing making for a complimentary duo

Probably one of the best fullback duo in this draft.

Desailly in his Milan version was a solid defensive wall. With Simeon's movement, they form a super protective shield in front of defence. Simeone's B2 role contributes in attack just enough to support the brilliant duo ahead.

Both the AM aren't typical #10s. They operate more as playmaking CMs and comfortable drifting wide.

Two complete CFs. Eto'o having played Wide Forward will drift to both sides and drop deep trying to pull defenders. Both can score and create for each other.

Between the fullbacks, wide drifting AMs and Eto'o, have enough width to make this a flexible and dynamic team.

Such a nice team from Edgar but tough to not vote for Himannv. He needs to work on that defense though quality wise. Banks makes it a easy vote though considering they are not that far apart.

Matthaus or Neeskens would have won Edgar my vote, same problem as last round, thrust from midfield would have made the team special.

I preferred EAP's CMs from the first game. It does seem to be lacking passing ability to make the 4222 work. It's true De Bruyne and Charlton can drop deep but a better link at CM would make it more fluid.
