has the potential to be the worst/best week all year long. i can't wait! <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

Hopefully Saturday was the slap in the face needed to ensure victory in those 2 games.

maybe saturday was all a ploy to lure the Poo & Arse into a false sense of security...maybe?

I said a little while ago that those two dates would be a big test for Fergie and the team, not for one moment expecting to witness Saturday's debacle. The one thing about being a supporter that keeps us going all these years through thick and thin is that little bit of optimism, even when things are going badly, that things will work out whatever the odds. We were badly beaten by those two last season and the season before in Pool's case. I ask myself the question, did we learn anything from those experiences and are we better equipped to take them on now and re-assert ourselves once again ? The rational answer has to be no but then again that little bit of optimistic hope tells me, always be ready for the unexpected.

i used to have every bit of confidence when we face poo or arse at home.. never away from home though.. arse have spetacular atmosphere at Highbury.. their fans are so close they could touch the players.. i think it boosts their game a lot when they play at home..

poo know they just cannot lose against us.. their fans have suffered too much and they cannot bear a loss at home against us..

so that leaves me with the two crucial home games.. if we go at this rate, i doubt we will win..

but one thing for sure, we will go into both games being the underdogs.. and god knows we love being the underdogs!

Without Keano we are going to struggle against these two. hopefully a few of the players will put in some big performances.

However, I am having nightmares of Laurent Blanc being run ragged by Henry and Owen.

first we better make sure we beat leverkusen and west ham in the next 5 days.

crucial that is

we need every body to be playing at their very very best to make up for keane and butts absences' if we are to have a chance of beating the arse and pool and some people need to play out of their skins ie who ever playes in CM namely PHIL and VERON coz if we go soft in the middle vieria and silva/gerrard and hamman will run riot.

:( feck, i'd give anything to have keane and butt back :(

Well,it worked...very much a succesful ploy
;)
I'm lucky enough to be going to OT on Dec 7th (as I was last season ,when I was in the 'Champion's Section' at OT :D )

My prediction : LFC v Mancs 1-2
Mancs v Arse 1-2

Just got back from Highbury tonight (top of our group!!)....and feel very, very optimistic. :D

I reckon Larry's pace or should I say lack of is affecting Rio's game

We always beat the Poo when we were shite
So maybe that is a good omen lets field a shite side as we haven't beaten em with a good un for a while
As for the Arse I fear the worst .We will definately need some big performances in this game

It simply has to be O'shea and Rio in the middle

Not sure if it was a spelling mistake or intentional, but feck Oaf seems to fit you perfectly.

Solskjaer showed a bit of passion on Saturday, and Ruud was abysmal. But you would start Ruud and not Ole. Typical really.
