I was a huge DCD fan all the way through high school and for a few years beyond that, but grew out of it quite a bit. I have not listen to it for about 10 years now (apart from watching Baraka from time to time, but decided to go because the one DCD gig I was at was absolutely remarkable, one of my best live experiences ever. The fact that I sat a few rows from Lisa Gerrard (the female of the duo- those who dont know DCD: she is the woman who sings on the Gladiator soundtrack among others) helped a lot, she had (and I hope still has) a fantastic aura - I smiled all the way through the concert, I couldnt help it.

I listened to a few of their albums today, and now I find it quite kitschy, so I have decided not to listen to any of their stuff till the Budapest gig.

Any other (ex-)DCD fans on the Caf?
