From the BBC website:

Crewe Alexandra have signed Manchester United youngster David Gray on loan.

The Scottish born defender has been brought in as cover for the injured George Abbey.

Gray, 19, is a regular member of Brian McClair's reserve side and his only first-team appearance came against Crewe in last season's Carling Cup.

Gray, who played right-back that night before being substituted, will go into the squad this weekend for Saturday's trip to the City Ground.

The experience should be a positive experience for him. I was surprised to hear that Eric Harrison rated him as one of the best prospects in our academy.

Seems not to have progressed much of late, I was impressed when he made the switch to defense, I think he played on the wing and even up front when we first signed him (from hearts i think)

He had a very bad injury not too long ago. Gifted lad. Fletch is his pimp btw.
